D’Julz celebrates 20 years of Bass Culture at Rex Club

Twenty years ago, D’Julz made a commitment to the Rex Club by becoming the sole resident DJ. Still going strong today, Bass Culture has withstood the test of time through shared love of music. Josh Wink, Terry Francis, Loco Dice, Sebo K, Carl Craig and Octave One; the greatest and most promising artists have been invited by D’Julz to the Rex Club.
As a result, there have been many legendary and unrepeatable evenings over the last two decades, showcasing house, deep and techno music.

Following on the success of the Bass Culture evenings, D’Julz created his own label of the same name in 2009. Art Alfie, Chez Damier, Chris Carrier, John Dimas, Phil Weeks… Bass Culture’s catalogue is contemporary, high-quality and thriving. In 2017, D’Julz is unveiling the fifty-second release of the label, signed Anonym, for fans of the Detroit sound.

Bass Culture is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year and, of course, music will take centre stage. D’Julz has got six evenings at the Rex Club lined up and the first one will take place on 18 February. The French producer will treat himself to an entire well-deserved evening, accompanied by Derrick May, Dyed Soundorom, Lil’ Louis and Seth Troxler.

As a partner of the event, Single Pattern will offer 1 Bass Culture Tshirt for each Rex Club night. Keep an eye on our Facebook page !
